What's the weather like?
Its the middle of winter here and living on a narrow strip of land between water and water the weather blows in and out quickly here. (A little like England eh?) ...But England in the midst of April showers - there'll be a downpour followed by bright sunshine. AND when the sun's out it's not that bitter winter sun where the air's thin and takes your breath away - it's...actually...warm! (I often have that feeling like when you go out shopping in winter in the UK, where you feel slightly inappropriately dressed and are either too hot or too cold in different settings - I hear layers are the key!)
There's no central heating here though so like in Cape Town inside is often colder than out and can feel a little damp! BUT unlike Cape Town there's not that cold-to-the-bone feeling and a jumper and a small heater soon banishes any chill. (Lee still manages to be in T Shirt most of the time?!)
Today is forecast for sunshine with a high of 18 degrees. Not bad for mid winter!
